Start with Middle C
You already know Middle C. Now youโll add two more written notes above it.
Remember: Middle C sits just below the staff with a short ledger line through it.
Meet D
D is one step higher than Middle C. It sits just below the staff.
Meet E
E is one step higher than D. It sits on the bottom line of the treble-clef staff. Notice how each note moves one step higher.
