Get Your Hand Ready
Place the right thumb on C, then let fingers 2–5 rest naturally on D–E–F–G.
Play Up
Play slowly:
C – D – E – F – G
1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5
Repeat it 3 times.
Play Back Down
Now reverse the pattern:
G – F – E – D – C
5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1
Repeat it 3 times.
Up and Back Down
Put the two patterns together:
C – D – E – F – G – F – E – D – C
1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1
The goal isn’t speed. Try to play evenly while keeping your hand relaxed.
